1. Introduction

This User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access to and use of websites, online materials, contact forms, digital content and official social media channels operated by AJ Royal Medical Holdings Pte. Ltd. and its subsidiaries, related corporations, clinics and operating entities (collectively, “AJ Royal”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Our official social media channels may include YouTube, X, Facebook and Instagram. By accessing our websites, using our online content, submitting enquiries or engaging with our official channels, you agree to this Agreement.

2. General Information Only

Information published by AJ Royal on our websites, articles, posts, videos, images, comments, captions, messages and social media channels is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency care or consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

3. No Doctor-Patient Relationship Through Website or Social Media

Viewing our website, following our social media accounts, liking or commenting on posts, sending general enquiries or interacting with our online content does not by itself create a doctor-patient relationship. A doctor-patient relationship is formed only through appropriate clinical consultation, registration and acceptance by our clinic or healthcare professionals.

4. Emergencies

Our websites and social media channels are not emergency channels. If you have a medical emergency or require urgent medical attention, please call the appropriate emergency services or seek immediate medical care.

5. Use of Our Websites and Channels

You agree to use our websites and official channels responsibly and lawfully. You must not:

  • Post, transmit or submit unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, discriminatory, threatening, misleading or harmful content.
  • Upload malware, spam, phishing content, unauthorised advertisements or materials that may disrupt our websites, systems or social media channels.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity, authority, affiliation or purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts, data, forms or infrastructure.
  • Use our content, name, logo or channels in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or affiliation without our written consent.
  • Post personal medical information, NRIC numbers, test results, prescriptions or confidential information in public comments or public-facing channels.

6. Appointments, Enquiries and Online Forms

Online forms, emails, telephone calls, social media messages and website enquiries are intended to help us receive and respond to requests. Submission of a form or enquiry does not guarantee an appointment, acceptance of a patient, availability of a service or a particular clinical outcome.

We may contact you to verify details, request additional information, propose appointment options or redirect you to an appropriate channel. You are responsible for ensuring that information submitted is accurate, complete and current.

7. Corporate Healthcare Enquiries

Corporate healthcare information on our websites and channels is provided for general discussion only. Any workplace health screening, corporate medical support, panel arrangement or employer engagement is subject to separate discussion, agreed scope, pricing, operational feasibility, applicable laws and written confirmation by AJ Royal.

8. Teleconsultation and Digital Services

If AJ Royal offers teleconsultation, online booking, payment, patient portal access or other digital services, those services may be subject to additional terms, consent forms, identity verification, platform rules and clinical suitability requirements. Not all conditions are suitable for remote care.

9. Social Media Conduct and Moderation

We may moderate, hide, delete, report or restrict comments, messages, reviews or other user-generated content on our official social media channels at our discretion, including where content is inappropriate, misleading, defamatory, spam, advertising, confidential, medically unsafe, unlawful or inconsistent with this Agreement.

Following, liking, reposting, sharing, tagging or commenting on our content does not mean that we endorse your views, products, services, business, account, claims or conduct.

10. User-Generated Content

If you post, tag, submit or send content to us, including comments, messages, photos, videos, reviews, feedback or testimonials (“User Content”), you confirm that you have the right to do so and that the content does not infringe the rights of any person or breach any law.

By submitting or posting User Content to our official channels, you grant AJ Royal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, share, adapt and respond to that content for operational, service, publicity, educational, record-keeping or communication purposes, subject to applicable law and our Data Protection Policy.

11. Testimonials and Reviews

We may request specific consent before using identifiable testimonials, images, names, likenesses or case-related content for marketing or publicity. We may also publish de-identified or aggregated feedback where permitted by law. Please do not submit testimonials or reviews containing another person’s personal or medical information without proper authority.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, names, designs, photographs, graphics, videos, documents, service descriptions and other materials published by AJ Royal are owned by or licensed to AJ Royal unless otherwise stated.

You may view and share our publicly available social media content for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided that you do not alter it, remove attribution, misrepresent it or use it in a misleading manner. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, commercially exploit or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

13. Third-Party Platforms and Links

Our websites and content may link to third-party websites, platforms, services or resources. Our social media channels are hosted by third-party platforms such as YouTube, X, Facebook and Instagram. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, platform availability, security, algorithms, policies, advertising, data practices or user conduct.

14. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Data Protection Policy. Communications through public comments, social media platforms, messaging tools and email may not be fully secure or confidential. Do not use public channels to disclose sensitive personal or medical information.

15. Accuracy and Availability

We aim to keep information accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that all content is complete, current, error-free or available at all times. Service information, clinic hours, doctor availability, prices, schemes, insurance arrangements, corporate services and operational details may change without notice.

16. No Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our websites, content and official channels are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties, representations or conditions, whether express or implied, in relation to our websites, content, social media channels and online communications.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AJ Royal and its subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, doctors, contractors, agents and service providers will not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, cost or expense arising from or relating to your use of, reliance on, inability to access or interaction with our websites, content, social media channels, third-party platforms or user-generated content.

18. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify AJ Royal, its subsidiaries, officers, employees, doctors, contractors and agents against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising from your breach of this Agreement, misuse of our websites or channels, unlawful conduct, infringement of rights or submission of inappropriate User Content.

19. Suspension and Access Restrictions

We may suspend, restrict or block access to our websites, services, forms or social media pages where we reasonably consider it necessary to protect our operations, users, staff, patients, systems, legal position or reputation.

20. Amendments

We may amend this Agreement from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued access to or use of our websites, content or official channels after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, our websites, online content or official channels shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
